Dr. Whelchel is a licensed psychologist in the state of California. She has been counseling adults and couples in the Bay Area since 1989. She opened her psychotherapy practice in the financial district of San Francisco in 1995. Her office is conveniently located in the Mills Building on Montgomery Street in San Francisco.

Dr. Whelchel is a graduate of the University of Chicago and the California School of   Professional Psychology.
